What are Sinuses?
Sinuses are air-filled spaces in the skull. Each one of us has 4 pairs of sinuses. They are the maxillary (Cheek area), ethmoid (between the eyes), frontal (forehead area) and the sphenoid (in the centre of the head).
Often the public refer to “sinus” as having nose symptoms such as congestion, running nose, headaches and itch. This is often caused by allergies.
